Man Commercial Vehicles has been making frequent moves recently, adding a new member to the hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck market. The HTGX three-axle chassis version of the hydrogen internal combustion engine heavy-duty truck it launched, as an extension product of the first mass-produced hydrogen internal combustion engine heavy-duty truck in Europe, is equipped with an H45 hydrogen internal combustion engine, capable of outputting 383kW (520HP) of power and a maximum torque of 2,500 Nm. Domestic trucks are accelerating their overseas expansion

The layout of domestic truck enterprises in overseas markets continues to deepen. In order to implement its overseas industrial strategic plan and accelerate localized operations overseas, FAW Jiefang plans to establish wholly-owned subsidiaries in eight countries including Uzbekistan, Indonesia and Vietnam, with a total investment of 498 million yuan. This move is a powerful promotion of its "SPRINT 2030" internationalization strategy. Since the release of this strategy in December 2024, FAW Jiefang has been making continuous moves, such as establishing International Automotive Co., LTD., completing the acquisition of relevant companies in Africa, and reaching over a thousand units of cooperation agreements with Indonesian enterprises. The establishment of these eight subsidiaries marks a new stage in its internationalization journey.

Weidu Technology has made a significant breakthrough in the overseas expansion of new energy heavy-duty trucks. Its pure electric heavy-duty truck Windrose has successively obtained the US EPA whole vehicle certification, LFP and NCM powertrain CARB certification, and California CARB whole vehicle certification, becoming the first Chinese new force heavy-duty truck brand to win the dual core environmental protection certifications
of EPA and CARB. Currently, this model has started road tests at Joyride, an operator under Amazon, and Nevoya, an operator of CH Robinson. It is planned to officially enter the North American market for delivery in 2026, successfully opening the access channel to the world's most stringent automotive market. From MAN's technological innovation to the global layout of domestic automakers, the commercial vehicle industry is injecting new vitality into the sustainable development of global transportation through the dual drive of technological upgrades in electrification and intelligence as well as market expansion.
