Hyundai has released the new XCIENT heavy truck: an all-round technological upgrade of the flagship model

On July 4, 2025, Hyundai Motor officially launched The New flagship heavy truck model XCIENT (The New XCIENT).As the upgraded model of the 2019 XCIENT Pro after a six-year hiatus, the new XCIENT focuses on exterior innovation, enhanced intelligent technology and improved safety performance, fully meeting the advanced demands of the commercial vehicle market.

Appearance design: The co-evolution of aesthetics and performance

The new XCIENT adopts the family design language. The V-shaped radiator grille, combined with cubic grids and vertical chrome trim, creates a dignified front face.

The application of digital rearview mirrors can be regarded as the core of appearance innovation: The compact wide-angle camera replaces the traditional rearview mirror, significantly reducing wind resistance. Combined with the vertical display screen on the A-pillar, it digitally presents the rear view. It is equipped with automatic monitoring at the end of the trailer and visualization functions at 30/50/100 meters. The heated camera ensures clear visibility in rain, snow and at night, effectively eliminating driving blind spots.

Cabin Experience: Dual upgrades in intelligence and comfort

The cockpit technology configuration has been comprehensively advanced: a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a CCNC intelligent entertainment system of the same size form a dual-screen interaction center, supporting wireless OTA upgrades. The dedicated navigation for commercial vehicles can optimize path planning based on parameters such as vehicle height and weight. The control layout has been redesigned. The central console features an embellished color scheme and network cable texture. New pop-up cup holders, 10W wireless charging and 27W PD fast charging ports have been added to meet the battery life requirements of electronic devices.

The improvement in comfort is reflected in the optimization of details: the Daycap model has expanded the sleeping berth and added a lower storage box and a mesh storage box. The active power steering system offers dual modes of "Comfort" and "Stability", providing lighter steering at low speeds and more stable driving at high speeds. The shock absorption system upgrade further enhances the riding experience and achieves fatigue relief during long-distance driving.

Safety and Assistance: All-Scenario Protection System

The new XCIENT has built a full-dimensional safety matrix, with standard configurations including lane keeping assist, intelligent speed limit assist and electronic parking brake. Active safety technologies include forward collision avoidance assistance for pedestrians and cyclists, front and rear low-speed collision warnings, blind spot alerts, and adaptive headlights that can dynamically adjust the illumination range according to road conditions.

The driving assistance system achieves advanced configuration: Intelligent cruise control supports following and stop-and-go functions. Highway driving assistance (HDA) and lane following assistance (LFA) ensure lane centering and maintaining a safe distance in high-speed scenarios. The auto-hold function is standard on all models except those with manual transmission. These configurations make the new XCIENT a technical benchmark in its class, providing a dual guarantee of safety and efficiency for commercial transportation.
